DAS SPEISEZIMMER [The Dining Room] is located at Chausseestraße, in the second interior courtyard of a disused locomotive factory. The eatery was re-opened after a three-month revamp in September 2010. Now, non-plastered masonry walls and vintage chandeliers meet modern design.
This first restaurant opened by Sarah Wiener treats patrons to regional and Mediterranean cuisine. Some of the recipes were brought back by Sarah from her culinary travels, others are part of our tradition. The wine list presents German and Austrian wines that are almost exclusively grown close to nature. A green terrace provides relaxation in summertime and can accommodate some 50 people for outdoor dining.
DIE KÜCHE [The Kitchen], a cosy place at the heart of the SPEISEZIMMER invites self-cooking. DIE KÜCHE provides spaces for small groups, cooking courses and background discussions with up to 25 people. The restaurant accommodates up to 80 people.
